Calvin Ng

As one of the pioneers of TNB Aura, Calvin is Partner at TNB Aura and has assisted the group with the formulation of the fund’s strategy and its sell-side journey. He is also currently an Investment Committee member of the Fund. As the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Aura Group. Calvin has extensive experience in investment banking, funds management and private equity & venture capital across various industries including financial services, technology and consumer goods.

Calvin is also a co-founder of Finsure Group (now BNK Bank) and has served as a Non-Executive Director on a number of private and public company boards including InStitchu.com, Integrated Portfolio Solutions and Catapult Group International.

Prior, Calvin worked with Everest Babcock & Brown (EBB), one of Australia's largest absolute return investment managers. At EBB, Calvin was part of the Direct Investment Team focusing on high yield debt, listed equities and private equity investments.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) and Bachelor of Laws (with Merit) from the University of New South Wales. He also completed the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and has been admitted to practice as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
