Eratani is an AgriTech company that provides an end-to-end farming management program to Indonesian farmers. Eratani provides their farmers with one-stop access to agri-financing, agri input to agri output solutions.

Q&A with Andrew Soeherman, CEO of Eratani

Share a few short sentences that illustrates Eratani’s hustle.

We strive to elevate Indonesian farmers through easy access to every step in the agricultural process, starting from pre-planting to harvest season. We witnessed that many people enjoy commodities such as rice without knowing how hard the process is, and how hard local farmers gain access to quality agricultural inputs, selling agri-outputs to agri-financing. We recognize a problem and an opportunity at the same time. All of those problems made us eager to help them, starting from helping farmers to Indonesian Agriculture.

What is Eratani's vision?

Our vision is to be the #1 agri-tech platform in Indonesia by building a strong agriculture ecosystem from upstream to downstream, including the funding, utilities supply, education, and products distribution, and helping the farmers to get easy access via technology support which will improve the farmers’ living standard in the future.

What's the most uncommon piece of advice have you got?

We believe these days we live in an incredibly competitive world in which everyone must be Excellent. What makes us excellent is not about individuals but great Teamwork and of course, the foundation of all of that is Integrity. These three pieces of spirit are also applied to become our guidance for achieving our goals in Eratani by emphasizing three main work cultures; Excellent, Teamwork, and Integrity which are taken from “EraTanI” (letter E, T & I).

When not hustling for Eratani, what do you have a heart for?

I spend a lot of time on spiritual and humanitarian affairs. I happen to be a leader of a cell group called COOL (Community of Love) and also believed to be the PIC of the General Service of one of the churches in Indonesia. This opportunity and trust make my heart full as I feel close to God.

What’s the story behind how Eratani met TNB Aura?

At first, I was introduced by one of our Angel Investors who shared a lot of good sides of TNB Aura. Then finally in that grateful moment, I was able to meet great people like Vicknesh, Charles, Joe, Georgios & Others. I found positive energy when I spoke with them and I am sure that TNB Aura will become part of Eratani's growth.
